Very high quality products in the Bakery. Breads are very fresh.
We regularly come here for a delicious Moroccan breakfast. Everything is fresh and tasty. You can sit there and eat in peace. Staff is very friendly. When we buy sandwiches at the pastry shop, you can give them to the kitchen and he will cut them and place them very tastefully on plates for you (see photos). We also buy delicious pastries or a beautiful bowl of Moroccan cookies to give as a gift, whatever. is always greatly appreciated by the recipients.
If I lived nearby I would buy/eat here much more often, but we come all the way from Rotterdam for them. I also want to come here again for a tagine or something else hot for dinner. Big thumbs up for you.
We have been getting our bread here since it opened. Regular customers because yes, you live in the area and want quality. But the prices have only gone up and the quality has gone down, we enjoyed the bread in the beginning. It was wonderfully soft and now if it is left for 1 day it has the texture of a brick, which is a shame because you can make bread. Cutting costs is allowed, but this should not be at the expense of quality.
Delicious food, the taco chicken menu is definitely recommended. Everything nice and crispy, tender and fresh.
Bestilla fish was spoiled. I called them several times. Not even to complain, by the way. Rather the fact that I can tell them that the food is not good. Don't sell it anymore. But people are too busy to answer the phone. I called 3 times. It kept ringing for 2 minutes. Never had anything to complain about this bakery. But you only have to sell me something spoiled once and then ignore it and I'll be done with it. I immediately reported it to the food and beverage authorities and frozen the container with the bestilla until it is collected by an employee. This is shameless. One thing I can't stand is people who work with food and do not routinely check whether the food is still in order, mainly because fish spoils faster in warm temperatures. But hey what do I know. Check your food. Now the relevant organizations will do that. And answer if you have a phone. There are 10 of you there. And no one can answer. Things are out of order when no one even has time to answer the phone.
I have tried all the baguettes in Kanaleneiland. The one from Al Baraka is the tastiest. In addition, you will also receive very friendly help :-)
For those in a hurry: they often open at 8:05 instead of 8:00.
A bakery followed by a lunchroom. My experience with the lunchroom is excellent. The breakfast (classic Moroccan breakfast) was delicious and the employees are customer-friendly and service-oriented.

Bunch of amateurs!! Could be a bit more professional. That place is too funny. Never again for me. Don't buy anything anymore. Just give me someone who has knowledge and understanding of the catering industry. 2 times orange juice 6 euros and no takeaway cups 🤣🤣🤣 funny people!, advice; You better start a bicycle shop, it will shine much better than this. Placing an order with 1 man behind the cash register already takes 15 minutes. let alone preparing and starting to eat +-30 minutes.
